Our Actions Make a Difference!

Sometimes it is hard to know if our work matters or makes a difference. Are the phone calls, postcards, protests, signs, meetings making a difference? In case you are wondering if your efforts matter, take a look at just some of the examples:

• On April 9, 2025, Trump caved with his insane tariffs and postponed implementation for 90 days. That’s because of you.

• Social Security abandoned the DOGE-led phone service cuts it was planning. That’s because of you.

• Judge Susan Crawford was elected to the Wisconsin Supreme Court despite Elon Musk’s massive funding of her opponent. That’s because of you.

• We closed the gap in two Florida house races by approximately 10 points in districts that were solid red until last Tuesday. That’s because of you.

• Senator Cory Booker broke the record by speaking on the Senate floor for 25+ hours making the case for democracy and standing up against Trump and his incompetent advisers.That’s because of you.

• Polls are showing that Trump has lost his standing with the public and is also in the process of losing his legitimacy as the leader of the United States of America. That’s because of you.

• The Democratic National Committee is establishing the "People’s Cabinet” to combat Trump administration lies and disinformation and provide the American people and alternative to the chaos that is happing day in and day out.That’s because of you.

• The House and Senate are holding Shadow Hearings to provide the truth to the American people and get to the bottom of what exactly is happening within the walls of the Trump administration. That’s because of you.

• The Senate passed legislation led by Senators Kaine, Klobuchar, and Warner to repeal Trump’s tariffs on Canada. That’s because of you.

• The mother of three children in Sackets Harbor, New York were removed from a dairy farm and sent to a detention center. The community rose up against the deportation and after pressure, the family was returned. That’s because of you.

• Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are firing up sell-out crowds to continue their opposition to the oligarchy madness unfolding before our eyes. That’s because of you.
